De volle zus van Kelvin de Ste. Hermelle

Out of the performance studfarm “de Sainte Hermelle” of Raymond Lefèvre and his daughter Adeline we present Querena de Sainte-Hermelle. Her sire is called Atilas d’Autan. For many years Adeline Lefèvre and Atilas d’Autan caused a furore on the international showjumping scene. Some of his highlights: fifth place in the ‘Sires of the World’ (Mechelen, 1998), fourth place in the Vichy Grand Prix (1m50, 1999), eight place in the Belgian showjumping championship for seniors (Kapellen, 2004), ninth place in the Derby of the Flanders (1m60, Lummen, 2004), 10th place in a 1m50 class in Lummen (2004), 13th place in the Barcelona Grand Prix (1m50, 2004), second place in a 1m45 class in Barcelona (2004) and ninth place in a 1m45 class in Vicenza (CSI 3*, 1m45, 2005). Atilas d’Autan produced several international performers, such as Jurphy de Sainte Hermelle (Maitane Rios Hernandez) and Kelvin de Sainte-Hermelle (Nina Fagerström). We meet Atilas d’Autan also in the dam lines of several international performers. He is, for instance, sire of the dam of famous Naltysse and Vegas de Sainte-Hermelle.

The sire of Querena’s dam is Nicias III. This son of Brilloso jumped successfully at international level in partnership with Pierre Delcourt. Nicias III produced several international performers, such as World Cup horse Arabian de Ste. Hermelle (Emile Hendrix and Sarah Watt). Partnered with Luis Negrao, Querena de Sainte-Hermelle won several showjumping classes for five-year-old horses in Portugal. It is also very interesting to mention that Querena is very closely related to the international performer Kelvin de Sainte-Hermelle. Kelvin and Querena have the same sire: Atilas d’Autan. Moreover, Verena d’Arquennes, Kelvin’s grandmother, is the dam of Querena. Partnered with Nina Fagerström, Kelvin collected several honourable placings in international five-star tournaments.
