Moeder van een nationale kampioen

Himarra ter Doorn’s sire is Lord Z. His sire, Lord, is undoubtedly one of the most valuable sons of the Thoroughbred Ladykiller xx. The approved stallion Lord Corlandus is a full brother to Lord Z. Lord Z showed his showjumping qualities already as a youngster, for instance during the ‘Bundeschampionat’ and the World championship for six-year-old horses in Zangersheide. Subsequently, Lord Z made his international début, initially under the saddle of Franke Sloothaak, later partnered with John Whitaker. Lord Z collected many victories and honourable placings during the biggest international showjumping tournaments.

Through the veins of Dolifore ter Doorn, the dam of Himarra ter Doorn, performance blood is also running. Partnered with Spanish rider Edouardo Alvarez Aznar, Dolifore (sporting name: Clonaslea) participated in international five-star showjumping competitions. Olidame van de Padenborre, Himarra’s grandmother, not only produced Dolifore, but also several other successful showjumpers, such as Galipolli ter Doorn (in 2013 this daughter of Heartbreaker finished seventh in the consolation of the world championship for seven-year-old showjumpers in Lanaken, partnered with Fabrice Galdini), Ellechin ter Doorn (at the age of seven, this daughter of Chin Chin performed very well and jumped in 2012 at the age of eight at 1m45 level under the saddle of Christophe David) and For Fun ter Doorn (in 2012 this daughter of For Pleasure performed very well under the saddle of Nick Van Laer. For Fun is also the dam of the BWP approved stallion Kentucky ter Doorn).

Partnered with Steven Van Britsom, Himarra ter Doorn realised several faultless heats in the cycle for five-year-old showjumpers. In combination with Diamant de Semilly, Himarra gave birth to Kastoria ter Doorn (°2010). Three years later Kastoria was laurelled during the BWP breeding day as the winner of the free jumping competition.
