Evasion V/D Padenborre is a daughter of the legend e Chin Chin. Constant, Chin Chin’s father, jumped internationally under Dr. Ruping. Chin Chin did follow in his father’s big footsteps. Over 5 years Chin Chin dominated the international jumping scene He participated to the Olympics in Seoul (individual 6th place)- under Mexican rider Jaime Azcarraga and Barcelona, as well as the toughest jumpings, world cup games and finals. He is listed 25th in the most recent ranking of the world’s best jumping horse producers, a position due to numerous descendants active at top level in the international jumping scene, such as VDL Groep Eureka (Maikel van der Vleuten), Sancha LS (Daniel Bluman), Arezzo VDL (Jur Vrieling), AD Zarisma (Doda de Miranda), Azibantos (Candice S King), Fananka A (Emanuel Andrade) and Uchingo Imperio Egipcio (Oleksandr Onyshchenko and René Tebbel).
As her stable name suggests, Evasion van de Padenborre was born on the renowned performance breeding farm “van de Padenborre” managed by André Leemans. he bred Evasion from one of his best breeding mares Jessica van de Padenborre. Jessica is a daughter of Fantastique from Draisienne, the foundation mare of van de BWP-performance branch 21. Jessica proved exceptionally valuable for breeding and sports. She produced several international jumping horses such as Toronto van de Padenborre (Juan Carlos Garcia), Wimpel van de Padenborre (Alfonso Salguero Rebolledo), Pin Chin (Philippe Le Jeune and Dominique Hendrickx) and Hemingway van de Padenborre (Carolina Sousa Oliveira Gonçalves and Luis Sabino Gonçalves).
Jessica is also grandmother of Socrates and Up and Down van de Padenborre, both performing at the highest level in jumping under riders Edwina Tops-Alexander and Jeroen Dubbeldam respectively. And there’s even more! Evasion is a full sister to Dirka van de Padenborre. We all know Dirka as the mother of a.o. Iron Man van de Padenborre (Gregory Wathelet), Ho-Go van de Padenborre (Denis Lynch), Houston van de Padenborre (Nicholas Dello Joio) and Jaguar van de Padenborre.
