At the 2008 Belgian Jumping Championship Toulon, with his silver medal, delivered proof yet again that he belongs at the top of the sport. But also in breeding this son of Heartbreaker is making a name for himself such as at the championship for 6 year olds where he triumphed with Cleofas van Westuur. Not just gold but also bronze was taken by Think Big, a son of Toulon, and 5th place also went to a son of Toulon, Carabas v/d Wateringhoeve.
Sandrina, the mother of Ici d’Or v/d Klothoef is a daughter of BWP ambassador Lys de Darmen from an excellent dam line. Last year, she delivered the auction colt Hargar v/d Klothoef.
