Sire of the four-year-old Katoo van T & L is Quincerot van T & L. Last year Victoria Gulliksen and Quincerot participated in international three-star tournaments, but nowadays the stallion is partnered with James Smith. Quincerot’s sire, Quite Capitol, performed at three-, four- and even five-star level under the saddles of several riders. Quincerot inherited the performance blood of the Olympic stallion Quidam de Revel (sire of Quite Capitol) and the World Cup class stallion Corrado I (Quincerot’s dam sire).

Via her dam Chanac van T & L, Katoo van T & L has the performance blood of Jarnac running through her veins. For nine years Jarnac played a leading role in the international showjumping scene, respectively partnered with Reynald Angot, Timothee Anciaume and Julio Arias. Jarnac performed at the highest level, including participations in Nations’ Cups, World Cup classes, five-star tournaments and the European Championship in Madrid (2011).

Chanac van T & L not only inherited performance blood via her sire Jarnac, but also via her dam Nikita, a daughter of Jokinal de Bornival. Nikita is the dam of the approved stallions Toulon and Vancouver d'Auvray, and the grandmother of the approved stallion Deauville de la Vie. Victory in the GCT in São Paulo and second place in the Grand Prix of Calgary were highlights in the career of Toulon and his rider Hubert Bourdy. Toulon’s full brother, the BWP Elite stallion Vancouver d'Auvray, participated in two World Cup finals (partnered with the American Danielle Torano) as well as five-star tournaments. Afterwards Bernardo Alves wrote the sequel to the success story of Vancouver d'Auvray, including participation in the World Championship in Lexington.
