De 3/4 zus van Olympiadepaard Wido!

Partnered with Philippe Le Jeune, Femme Fatale’s sire, Vigo D’Arsouilles, caused a furore in the showjumping world. For many years the duo wrote history in challenging tournaments, World Cup classes, Nations’ Cups, European championships and even Olympic Games (London, 2012). In August 2008 Vigo D’Arsouilles became Belgian showjumping champion, and in 2010 world champion in Lexington! Many descendants of Vigo are playing a leading role on the international showjumping scene, such as Vagabond de la Pomme (Pénélope Leprevost, in April 2015 second in the World Cup final in Las Vegas), Dixson (Ian Millar), Fair Light v ’t Heike (Edwina Tops-Alexander), Farfelu de la Pomme (Jos Verlooy) and Figo de Muze (sporting name: Golden Hawk, Shane Breen).

In the dam line of Femme Fatale we meet best performance blood. Did you know that Scarlett, Femme Fatale’s dam, produced an Olympic horse? We are talking about Wido (by Nabab de Rêve) who participated at the Olympic Games in Beijing (2008), under the saddle of Prince Faisal Al Shalan. Partnered with Olivier Guillon, Wido collected in 2009 and 2010 several medals of honour during five-star tournaments. Nelly, Scarlett’s dam, is the dam of the international Grand Prix showjumper Benita (Aurélie Wettstein, 1m50 to 1m60 level) and the grandmother of international performer Febro (Francisco Goyoaga Elizalde, 1m40 level). Via her dam line Femme Fatale belongs to BWP’s performance line 1. Several international showjumpers belong to this successful family, such as Nicos Landelijke Rijhoeve, Gondo Landelijke Rijhoeve (Albert Voorn and Camilia Hauglin), Tedechine Sept (Eddie Macken), Canasucre Sept (Hannah Warde) and Warando A (Ilya Naydenyshev).

Palmares

Koen De Waele: “Horses from this family have been exported to all corners of the world. Also Femme Fatale jumped internationally with myself. I did the Youngster tour on her. I know her as a careful horse that matches perfectly stallions with a lot of scope. Then you maybe breed another Olympic horse, just like her brother Wido!”
