Daytona VH Wuitenshof Z’s sire is the top French stallion Diamant de Semilly. Under the saddle of Eric Levallois, Diamant contributed many times to the succcess of the French team, for instance gold during the 2002 World Championship in Jerez de la Frontera and silver during the European Championship in Donaueschingen. Alongside these splendid team results he won the French showjumping championhip in 2002 and several international Grand Prix. In the most recent WBFSH ranking for the best suppliers of showjumping horses Diamant de Semilly is ranked fifth. Several descendants of Diamant are following in the hoofprints of their illustrious sire, such as Kalaska de Semilly (H.H. Latifa al Maktoum), Piman de la Devinière (Michel Hécart), Quickly de Kreisker (Abdelkebir Quaddar), Polinkska des Isles (François Mathy junior) and Erenice Horta (Edwina Tops-Alexander).Daytona’s dam, Winona van het Wuitenshof, is a daughter of the Olympic stallion Quidam de Revel. In combination with Kannan, Winona gave birth to Calvin van het Wuitenshof who, partnered with Kent Farrington, played a leading role in the international showjumping scene in 2011 and 2012. This duo collected victories and honourable placings in several 1m45 to 1m50 competitions, as well as a World Cup qualifier. Also very important in Daytona’s pedigree is her grandmother Raguna Z. This daughter of Ramiro Z produced, for instance Aurelius Z (approved stallion and international showjumper), Mamadou van de Helle (Grand Prix showjumper), Nouchka van de Helle (dam of famous dressage horse Paganini van de Helle and grandmother of the stallion showjumper Festo van Paemel) and Ulior van het Wuitenshof (stallion and successful showjumper in South-Africa).
