Comedy’s sire is the eight-year-old Connor, a son of Casall out of Korrada S (by Cor de la Bryère). Korrada S is a full sister to Corrado I, who caused a furore in the international showjumping world under the saddles of Bo Kristoffersen and Franke Sloothaak. In 2012 Connor qualified to participate at the final of the “Bundeschampionat” for six-year-old showjumpers. One year later he jumped successfully in showjumping competitions at S level. In June 2013 he was laurelled in Elmshorn as the champion of the seven-year-old Holsteiner showjumping horses.

Via her dam, Melodie VIII, Comedy belongs to the Holstein performance family 776, out of which several outstanding products have been born, such as Lordanos, Acorado I and II, Catwalk van de Helle, Chapman Rouge, High Valley, Lord Incipit and the legendary progenitor Ramiro Z. Melodie VIII has been used as breeding dam and produced one approved stallion, namely Levisonn (a son of Levisto Z). Narwan, Comedy’s grandmother, is the dam of the approved stallion Rouletto (by Romino), as well as the international showjumpers Carwan and Baldessarini.
