Interested investors will have the opportunity to acquire the very best performance blood thanks to Cher de Kalvarie. Cher is a full sister of Priobert de Kalvarie and Quilano de Kalvarie, two famous international showjumpers who belonged for many years with the world’s elite. Leslie Burr Howard and Priobert participated at the World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera (2002), Nations’ Cups, World Cup classes and Grand Prix. During three consecutive years they qualified for the World Cup final: in Göteborg (2001, sixth), Leipzig (2002, fourth) and Las Vegas (2003). Quilano de Kalvarie and his rider Michel Hécart won the silver team medal and ranked individually eighth during the European Championship in Donaueschingen (2003) and collected many victories and honourable placings during the most challenging international tournaments (for instance sixth in the Grand Prix of Aachen, 2003).

It’s not by chance that Cher, Priobert and Quilano de Kalvarie have valuable performance blood. Their sire, Kimball, performed successfully at international level under the saddle of the deceased Eric Wauters. Kimball is a son of the legendary Darco, seventh in the WBFSH ranking of the best suppliers of showjumpers worldwide. Partnered with Ludo Philippaerts, Cher’s dam, Dorothee de Kalvarie jumped successfully at the highest level all over the world (for instance fourth in the Grand Prix of Tampa).

Tokade de Kalvarie, a half-brother of Cher de Kalvarie, caused a furore in the United States when partnered with Natalie Johnson, including participation in World Cup classes. Several other successful showjumpers belong to Cher’s dam line, such as Fleur de Kalvarie (Ludo Philippaerts and Viktor Daem), Winston de Kalvarie (Grégoire Oberson) and Diebrich de Kalvarie (Nicola Philippaerts).

Cher de Kalvarie is an outstanding breeding dam. She has produced several performers, such as Azaro de Kalvarie (competing in 2013 from 1m30 to 1m35 level, partnered with Pieter Clemens) and Grunwald de Kalvarie (who is collecting honourable placings from 1m45 to 1m50 level at three-star tournaments under the saddle of Carlos Lopez-Fanjul).
