Bieke-S is a daughter of Latano, son of the Holstein great sire Landgraf I from Sanka, a Capitano-daughter. Capitano’s mother is legendary Ramzes x-daughter Retina.
Between 1958 and 1960 Retina won over 20 Show-jumpings, including the 1959 Hamburg Derby. With an accumulated prize sum of 46.000 DM Retina was one of the best jumping horses of Germany at that time. Latano is part of the Holsteins breeding branch 1094. Fellow members of this branch are a.o. Chromat, Latano II, Niarchos, Only, Conte’s Son and Feldjunge. Latano has performed at the 1m40-1m50-level with rider Ulrich Kirchhoff. Between 1989 up to and including 1995 he was a breeding stalling for BWP. He has procured 225 male and 275 female descendants Next to several successful jumping and dressage-horses, his list of descendants includes some approved breeding stallions such as , Pomerol en Piaster.
In the dam line of Bieke-S , findings are just as impressive. Dam Tserpe-S, produced several very impressive daughters, such as Wilke-S and Amke-S.
Wilke-S is the dam of international jumping horses Dasko(performed up to four start level under the saddle of Aniek Poels and James Paterson-Robinson, 1m50-1m60) and Ense van den Brandakker (1m50 level, with rider Niels Bruynseels).
Amke-S, a daugther toCarthago with Dam Tserpe S, is known as the dam to a.o. Gamko-S (impressive results at 5 star competitions with rider Joe Clee and under the saddle that that level since August this year byAlberto Michan), Famko-S (1m45-level in the USA under riders Lindsay Archer and Gabrielle Cirelli) and Eimko-S (Marcel Grote). Tserpe is Voltaire daughter from dam Heidi VH Appelsvoordehof. Regina-S, daughter of Feinschnitt from Heidi, produced the renowned Nonstop-son Angelis-S (successful with Robert Smith and Nayel Nasser at five star competitions, world cup games and even made it to a world game final). Regina-S is also the dam of Landjonker S Z, a Landgold-descendant jumping at1m30-1m40-levelunder rider Ali Abdulla Mahmoud Hamad.
